Meeting with Epping Forest MP

Recently local campaigner Ruth Montefoire and other local people met with Conservative MP for Epping Forest. It was a productive meeting with some positives to take forward.

General Election Commitment

Today we publically call upon the General Election candidates to come out in favour of a Freedom Pass scheme for Epping Forest.

In the recent past Eleanor Laing has said she supports a version of the Freedom Pass, and Simon Pepper, the Green Candidate has come out in favour of one.

Will the other candidates come out in favour and support our campaign?

Local Campaigner Ruth Monteforiere is currently lobbying Government on why we only get £9.61 million from central government , and in London the funding is much higher.

Independant Freedom Pass Campaigner, Ruth Montefoire, has joined the Offical Campaign. Combining efforts is the best way bring about the Freedom Pass.

Anger at Council siting on Travel money

Campaign Founder Olivia Rhys said she was highly disapointed about the council losing £130,000 of £250,000 for simply not wanting to spend money. The money could have helped with Freedom Passes.
